Families stay close without the chart being open
Guardians want to know their child is eating, sleeping, and making progress. That is not the same as handing over a clinical record, and the portal is built around the difference.
How it works
Five permissions, each granted deliberately
Activities, behavior, therapy, medications, and incidents are separate switches, and every one of them starts off. A guardian sees nothing until a staff member decides otherwise, resident by resident.
Shared, but not verbatim
Behavior updates are filtered to the positive. Therapy shows a summary, never the SOAP note. Medications list what is prescribed, never the dosage. The family gets the picture without the clinical detail that was never meant for them.
Access that expires on its own
A grant lasts 90 days and then stops. Renewal is a decision someone makes again rather than a thing that lapses quietly, and each review is recorded with who did it and when.
Revocable in a moment, and logged
A placement ends or a situation changes, and access ends immediately with the reason recorded. Multi-factor authentication is required on guardian accounts throughout.
